Fundraising Chairperson
Article IV, Section 1, Fundraising Chairperson
- Organize the Fundraising committee and developing fundraising programs and events.
- Secure the approval of the YMCA Aquatic Executive for all new fundraising programs and events and provide an annual summary of approved programs and events.
- Present the National Team Chairperson a list of families eligible to transfer excess fundraising to the national team and will prepare a report detailing the amounts.
- Provide input to the quarterly financial reports for audit by the YMCA Aquatic Executive and the President/CEO of the YMCA.
- Coordinate or supervise the operation of year-round swim team Fundraising programs including but not limited to Scrip, Kroger, bigg’s and Meijer.
- Coordinate or supervise the operation of seasonal swim team Fundraising programs including but not limited to Pie Peddler, Cookie Dough, Tastefully Simple, Longaberger, Holiday Wreaths, Pampered Chef, Dinner by Design and others.
- Maintain records tracking and detailing Fundraising contributions for all families and athletes on the team throughout the calendar year, providing detail and summaries as requested by the YMCA Aquatic Executive and swim team General Treasurer.
- Attend and participate in monthly swim team Booster Board meetings.
